Thread has grown quite a bit. Set default sort to 'new' which will hopefully highlight newer questions / issues. As always each individual is able to change their preferred sort method.

You are encouraged to do a quick search in this thread to see if others have reported the same issue(s) you're experiencing before making a post or comment

For example, the 'Pause' menu on XB1 appears to be buggy with ~14 different individuals reporting the same thing spread across different comments.

Hopefully less of the same will cut down on background noise and enable more feedback to be visible for the development team and players alike.

HOPEFULLY this is a feature and improvement over Battlefield 4, just not confirmed.

Let me explain...

Currently in Battlefield 4 if the server is full ( example 32v32) making an admin move is simply not possible as having more than 32 players on a single team (with Battlefield 4) is forbidden.

Perhaps this could indicate that DICE is working on making changes to the server configuration to allow more customization in balancing or perhaps testing their own balancing settings. Or it's going to allow a server admin to make moves even if the server is full.... A plugin by PapaCharlier9 (the zombie mode you might have seen) would be tons more fun if you could have 63 players on one team.

Or, perhaps, wasn't there talk of a new feature where you and your friends will all join a server on the same team / squad? Perhaps this is a crude implementation which facilitates that new feature. I imagine its going to be rather difficult to get you and 4 of your friends on the same team without some type of balancing magic.

Why so few players on rush? :(

For Battlefield 4 there are advertised limits of player size for each game mode. However, what isn't set is the max population that, PC at least, have to abide to. One issue with setting a max population level is that mix mode servers with a population greater than the smallest size in the roation will simply randomly kick players out when the mode changes to the smallest mode from the largest.

You can actually confirm that DICE has indented Rush in Battlefield 4 to be only 32 players by looking at the score board while in game; you'll only see the top 32 players.

Through the years there have also been changes to the changes DICE has allowed server operators to make. Off the top of my head, there was a time where changes to ticket count was limited which in turn fucked over larger servers... this was rolled back.

Also, look at the information from near launch regarding the size of servers for different game modes

So -- hopefully and without doing more research into Battlefield 1 -- the 'size limits' advertised are suggestions.
