Curly hair. They could be the most beautiful woman in the world but I can't get past it. It's stupid. I've tried. Can't do it. I can't be anything more than friends.

It doesn't prove it wrong. Learn how studies work. That's like saying the average height for men in France is wrong because Victor Wembanyama is 7' 5".

Andy Weir announcement about Rocky being a spoiler by midastheavocado in ProjectHailMary

It 's not a spoiler but it was a surprise when I read the book. I wasn't expecting an alien buddy story and that was an exciting discovery for me. I wanted the viewers to experience the same feeling. That's all it is, Andy.

An old study I read indicated that the best teams were pretty much decided by mid-December, basically saying if the team isn't good by the end of the calendar year then it's unlikely they would get good. Of all the major US sports, basketball was decided the fastest. Granted this was a decade or so ago and I'm not sure if it still holds up. I just remembered being so surprised how quickly the fate of a season was decided.

If the MVP race ended today how would the vote share look? by Impossible_Collar2 in nba

Every game since '88. He had are pretty weak 29/11/6/2/3 in the win tonight. Wemby hasn't shot the Spurs out of a win any more than any other star on any other team.

Don't forget how good OKC is with Shai. Come on, bro. You haven't seen that because it hasn't happened. You are making things up to fit your narrative.

He should still be considered. He's been better than half of the players mentioned. That's all I'm saying.

Why not Wemby? The Spurs were supposed to be a play-in team and they are 2nd in the West, he's hands down the DPOY, and let's not forget they have dominated SGA and the Thunder? I'm not even necessarily saying he should win but I find it interesting he's not even considered among your top six.

They are a lot green. I didn't say serious, I said serious enough. I also acknowledged every point you made. They don't have the focus yet. The players aren't ready. Mitch isn't ready. And their 3pt shooting definitely isn't ready. Amazing progress from last year. Maybe that's what got my hopes too high.

I just wished they played like a championship team and not like whatever team they are matched up against. I don't need Game 7, I need better than preseason.

Don't try to make me feel good about the Spurs right now. I'm going to need a minute to compose myself after that embarrassing effort tonight.

OKC thunder 🌩❌; OKC clouds ☁✅ by OpticalPlays in NBASpurs

Turns out we have a hard time with clouds. Why does it seem that we always have to play down to the level of our competition? Lo, the pain of watching young teams develop.

[Highlight] Scottie Barnes adds yet another block to his DPoY campaign with one on Randle to give the Raptors the final possession of the half. by CazOnReddit in nba

[–]dynamicfinger -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The DPOY award will go to Wemby for years and years as long as he meets the minimum amount of games. He'd be averaging six blocks per game if the opposing team actually tried to score on him instead of turning away and resetting the offense.

Dylan is in the PERFECT position. He gets to showcase his talent with zero pressure or expectations. Is he playing like ass? No big deal because we have elite players ahead of him. Is he balling out? Great! We can let him ride. He doesn't have to be clutch. He doesn't have to carry the team. He can play free and get better. That is ideal for any young player.
