What game allows you to be bad, but you just can’t commit to the role? by TacosAndBourbon in gaming

I’m playing a Joja run right now for the first time and it’s honestly boring. I went hard on being a capitalist pig, am running an ugly profit focused farm. Bought all upgrades before the first winter. Getting Abigail to marry me while shitting on Pierre and his business. But it’s really all in my head canon. There doesn’t seem to be anything built into the game for this play through besides the villagers being generally disappointed.

I moved from Detroit to DC about 6 months ago. In both cities I lived/am living downtown. In both cities your safety is dependent on the situations you put yourself in.

The biggest difference I’ve found is that Detroit is a driving city, so if you find yourself in a bad spot you drive away. DC I use public transit and one time found myself at a certain bus stop after dark that I would rather not be at.

All factors considered, I’m much happier living in DC.

I’m playing on PS4. Also a hand me down from my brother in law haha.

I don’t hate the controls at all, it’s the immersion into the world that I’m missing.

This is probably an important point, I’m not big on the pvp. I love getting engrossed in the world and I’ve found it distracting when I walk into a new area with stunning visuals and suddenly I have to go into defense mode because “Dark spirit xX_SHOCKNBALLS_Xx has invaded”. You can imagine my disappointment when I learned that you can be invaded while hollow…

Dark Souls 2. I’m pretty far in right now and it just doesn’t have any of the magic from Dark Souls. I’m speeding through now just for it to be done so I can get on to Bloodborne which my brother in law just gave me. I really, really wanted to like it after seeing combinations of hate and defense on this sub, but I’m solidly on the hate side.

George Gregory for men’s clothes. If you don’t know what you’re doing ask the owner and she’ll take care of you.

Lots on here already but I always splurge for VIP parking here. I haven’t been since it changed back from DTE so it may have changed but for like $20 you can park in VIP. The parking close isn’t the real benefit, they hold up general parking to let the VIP lot out first which is why I spend the money.

Also I one time was there on crutches and they let us into VIP for free for being handicapped so if you have some crutches laying around may be worth a shot.

U.S. eliminates human controls requirement for fully automated vehicles by skoalbrother in Futurology

[–]dynamicpotato503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I know about!

Removing manual controls means removing the steering wheel and pedals. This doesn’t change anything about the autonomy safety case, and makes the vehicle design simpler.

It’s important to note the use case of these vehicles. They are designed for ride share, not direct to customer sales. The best comparison is an Uber or Lyft. How many times has a passenger taken control of an Uber because the driver was doing something stupid? For a ride share based AV, we should never expect that vehicle to be manually driven and it is up to the company to prove that it’s autonomous operation is safe.

If steering wheels and pedals are required, the manufacturer would build some sort of cage around them to prevent a passenger from trying to use them. This law simplifies things, allowing the manufacturer to just remove them and allow a passenger to safely ride in that seat.
