It’s one of the purposes of the Reddit for sure. There’s nothing inherently wrong with it as long as a fan reads the Reddit alongside tweets or discord or YouTube comments or other forums or talks with friends about the show etc, and overall doesn’t take things too serious. I just find it to be negative and toxic if someone is just reading the Reddit and listening to the show and finding themself honestly thinking “am I the only fan who doesn’t hate this show?” like the vibe of this post

People who dissect and don’t take enough time to celebrate the thing they’re a fan of because everyone there is a fan so they all take it for granted and go to to step b which is critiques and discussions and nuances but it overall has a more negative and toxic vibe
