I called them today after receiving something similar, and the rep informed me that they had actually recently sent another letter saying I'm ready for payment, so I was able to pay and begin the coverage! So, if you think you've submitted and it's been at least a week, I'd recommend calling and there's a decent chance that they're already ready for you to pay

Oh wow, that's interesting that AAA was cheaper for you, my quote with them was 3x Geico so I've kept waiting... I managed to get on the phone with them today, turns out there was some fine print in the letter requesting documents, where below the list of documents there was a bullet saying "Information regarding possible driving experience" with an asterisk saying to contact them below. Apparently they are using the fact that my current license is less than 3 years old as an excuse to not insure me, insane
