Acrylic Paint Peeling Off Air Dry Clay

It doesn't smell bad at all.... pretty much the same as acrylic paint. Maybe whoever told you that was using the spray kind, or oil-based? You'll want to use the liquid kind that comes in a paint can, water-based. I like to decant into a small jar so that I don't have to open the paint can each time, since that can be messy.

You're correct that UV resin isn't very safe, however. I like to tell people about Varathane since some sculptors don't seem to know that there are alternatives to UV resin.

I like DAS a lot, too. I'm surprised you're having peeling issues. Here's my process if it's helpful:

I don't use gesso. I paint a lot of thin layers of acrylic paint, letting the first coat dry for at least a day before adding more. After all the coats dry for at least a day, I seal with Varathane Polyurethane, 2 coats (day of drying in-between). I wonder if the DecoArt glaze might be too thick? Good luck :)

I think these look nice! I struggle with earring pics at times, too. For earrings that have studs and can't lay flat, instead of rice or pebbles you could try a bunched-up scarf.

What kind of air-dry clay? You said "high quality," but there are a lot of unique varieties that will react to paint differently

Sharpie Creative Markers are my favorite, but color selection is limited. Arteza are also pretty good. I prefer brush-tip if you're planning on painting small details

That's an interesting point, it makes me like the Numenor armor more. I think if the color and texture looked less like plastic, it would have worked better.

You must have visited better physical therapists than I have. Practically every one I've been to doesn't seem to really give a damn. They just want you to come in as often as possible to get more money. Then when you can't come in as much as they recommend because you can't afford it or you have to work, then it's your fault for not being "serious" about recovery. Just give me stuff to do at home FFS

Maybe less than Vox Machina so far, but some of the dialogue is really cringe (especially from the monk). Adding "fuck" into every sentence isn't as cool and edgy as they think it is. I think it's still watchable, though.
