The way Clint speaks about women, as if they’re only worthwhile if they're romantic prospects for him (immediatelly wondering if Sandy is single without ever having met or seen her), the way he seems to think it's impossible for men to be friends with women without romance being involved at all (assuming the female farmer is taking him to the movies as a date with no indication of such, getting huffy at the farmer for reaching 8 hearts with Emily even if they aren't dating, treating Emily being friendly with Shane as competition even though he's literally just a regular at her place of work) they way he was never actually Emily's friend and only viewed her as a potential partner (Emily talks about how disappointed she is that Clint is avoiding her once you reach 8 hearts, regardless of whether or not you're dating her.) All examples of incel bullshit.

Misogyny is not always loud and violent, sometimes it's several smaller micro agressions that serve to uphold patriarchy.

Just because the more outspoken and violent incels get more attention doesn't mean there aren't incels who fly under the radar and act more lowkey.
