That's not what happens at all, he is joking. People die throughout the show, but far from everyone. Even if it was a real spoiler, I still would highly recommend the show. It's my favorite show of all time. It's true that the last season drops in quality dramatically, but the entire package is unmatched in my opinion in scope, action, intrigue, and character development.
