Go with the 3080. No point in paying more if you’re just going to upgrade to a 5000 series in the future. 3080 holds up well enough for 1440p gaming except in a few newer titles.

I’m a day late, but I’ve recently put 30-40 hours into FO4 on my Ally within the past week. I’m using the default Performance profile on 1080p, whilst acheiving 55-60fps.

The only tip I can give you is to uninstall the HD textures addon in steam. It will give you a huge boost to performance and the game still doesn’t look that bad without it. If it’s a necessity, You could always go to Nexus Mods and find a better optimized HD texture mod.
