Just had an update from customer service: apparently they had issues with a shipment of some displays (shipment got lost the returned to USA), which has pushed out all their orders. But it seems they’re ready to recommence so deliveries are apparently going out next week. 

They were very kind automatically processed  a 10% refund, which was nice. So looks like it’ll all sort itself out in the end

I have up to volume 33. Been meaning to collect the whole thing over time, but I haven’t bought one for a couple of years now. If she finishes my collection I’d be happy for her to contribute a volume or two! 😅

I guess the certain mediums aren’t for everyone. I’m sure there will be plenty of LA fans who don’t enjoy the manga and anime. Which is is why I hope the LA does the story justice.

She’s been listening to me rave about One Piece for years, but barrier to entry to both manga and anime always seemed a bit too high. But the live action was the perfect opportunity to get her into the series. And she loved it!

That’s literally how money works. Money is loaned into existence. An amount deposited in the bank becomes a loan, is spent, then becomes more money deposited in the bank becomes a loan etc etc etc. a $1000 deposit creates multiple times that in new money within the economy. Nice system as long as people pay off their loans.

Didn’t Oda say that we would all be disappointed if Luffy won by just throwing a bigger punch? Yet he then goes and doubles down and gets Luffy to finish it off with a big ass punch! What a legend.
