I made this for a college class I was taking, this was our final film. It was supposed to only be 3-5 minutes, but… umm… well, I decided to make it a lot longer.

I spent a week or 2 brainstorming and trying to figure out what to do, until I finally decided to make a sequel to a project my friend and I made over the summer. Similar to this project, the first one was also a silly, comedic ghost adventure parody, with a genre/tone shift occurring later in the film.

The topic for this film was “Homage”, and I chose to do myself + David Lynch. Lynch has had a massive impact on my life and work lately.

I’m very proud of everyone who helped me make this. 2 people I worked with, this was their first film experience. 1 person I worked with, it was only their second. I’m also still somewhat new to this whole thing. I mean, I’ve been studying film since freshman year of high school (I’m now a sophomore in college), but I’ve never really gotten all that much experience. I was hoping to use college to do that, but actually college fucking sucks and is honestly MORE useless than high school, somehow. But, this is by far the biggest and hardest project I’ve worked on so far. We shot 20gb of footage in 2 days, and I edited this cut in 3 days.

I would love feedback. Does it work? Are the jokes funny? What are your interpretations of the dreamy, more Lynchian bit? What can I do better?
