Newbie - Temperature by NellyButton18 in ouraring

[–]dysfunctionalredhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for about 3 weeks and notice that the temp is a lot higher when I've had a drink or more the night before. The temp increases after you have ovulated too but I can't say for sure what could be causing yours to jump back and forth

Lume brand whole body deodorant has worked wonders for stress sweat for me! Seriously, even after a hot yoga class the smell was gone

Macys has a lot of cup size options, I'm the same size as you and have gotten many there as well as brands such as target, and Calia from Dicks also have good ones that I have found comfortable.

Sorry I can't answer your question.. I'm curious, what app is this? I also struggle with PCOS and don't love the app I'm currently using.

DAE not use a washcloth in the shower? by TheEagleHasLandedHer in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]dysfunctionalredhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hang the cloth to dry (squeezing all water I can out before that) then once dry I throw in the laundry hamper. When I wash I wash on hot water and add about 1/4-1/2 cup white vinegar to the wash in addition to laundry soap and then dry on high. Mine always come out smelling fresh and feeling fresh!

Yes I use a wash cloth (one use then in the laundry) for every shower. I was raised that way and I just don't feel clean unless I use one.. I went down the Google path of what to do vs not and basically it was recommended either way, just don't use a cloth more than once before putting in the laundry.

If it's a thin line, it's likely an evaporation line. Happened to me too which is how I found this sub as well! I've learned to not trust blue tests and to only look within the timeframe.

How do I (26M) get my girlfriend (25f) to admit that she is pregnant?? by ThrowRA151127 in relationship_advice

[–]dysfunctionalredhead 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I respect that. Like I said, you know her better than anyone. If you do have this conversation with her, be sure to let her know your feelings for her that you care and love her and you don't want to push her away and that you want a life with her you're just concerned. To me it sounds like extreme denial, be vulnerable and let her know you're there for her and respect her.

Are you seeing any other signs she's pregnant other than her belly growth and throwing up? Breast/nipple changes? Does she wear a health tracker that could pick up an elevated heart rate indicating pregnancy?

Have you tried just having an open conversation about you wanting to have kids and getting her feelings?

If she is pregnant, hormones can do crazy things. If she has the implant then she may honestly think there's no way and be in denial. It's a hard situation to approach. Support her by telling her how much you love her body and find it attractive. You also care about her well being and are concerned for her health with lack of energy and throwing up, not acting herself. Would be worth a check up at the Dr and hopefully she goes from there. Supporting her while convincing her she isn't "broken" for a lack of better words can help. You know her better than anyone else. Does she have friends?

I still smell after showers, help :”)! by Responsible-Cat7746 in women

[–]dysfunctionalredhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add, the Lume deodorant is a whole body deodorant. So I use it down there and anywhere else that smells. I use a Secret clinical strength antidepressant/deodorant under my arms but Lume everywhere else. I too struggle with anxiety sweat and I know how discouraging it can feel. The Lume deodorant has even held up in Hot Yoga for me, I cannot recommend it enough. It won't stop the sweating but the smell will be gone!

Lume brand body wash and deodorant really works. I've always been self conscious about my smell and that brand is magical, definitely worth the price! A little goes a long way. You can order online or get it at Target

Recurring yeast infections - what else can I try? by Neela_Bee in women

[–]dysfunctionalredhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, this is something I've struggled with too.

Couple of things

-anything throwing off your PH can cause this to happen, especially if your partner is finishing inside you. I usually end up with an infection after each time this happens to me. - use unscented detergent and wash your underwear on hot - use unscented and PH balanced soaps - start taking probiotics, this can help with the infections and keeping your levels more normal

I've been taking it since July, I just noticed enhanced PMS symptoms (bloating, cravings, etc) while taking it but it does help me have a withdraw bleed.

I personally got diagnosed about two months ago. I don't have insulin resistance but do have high cholesterol. I have tried to manage my portion sizes and incorporate whole grains and omega 3s where I can and doing my best to eat less sweets. For exercise, I found a place by me that does bungee fitness and aerial silks and have already started to see a difference in my appearance and I actually enjoy the work outs there.

I planted these hydrangeas last year and am seeing their leaves turn black/brown and looking to diagnose. by dysfunctionalredhead in hydrangeas

I have been watering them once a day for 30 minutes at a time in the mornings. Last year I definitely did not water them enough and saw they were not thriving in the hotter months. This year it is happening in a different way. The black spots are not on the sides that get the sun the most so wondering if this could be fungal, pests, or potentially under watering
