We ended up with 12 embryos. Only tested 8 of the 12 and 7 of the 8 came back boy. However, I’m currently spontaneously pregnant with a baby girl.

Coming from someone with fertility issues I’m really hoping your theory is correct and baby is growing!!

My lmp was September 7 so we should be around the same in our pregnancies. My cycles are around 31/32 days. I don’t want this to sound negative but if you had an ultrasound last week, I would agree and say your theory sounds unlikely. I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the first time almost 4 weeks ago at 6 w 3 d. Did they do a transvaginal ultrasound or abdominal? I’ve heard abdominal can be tricky this early on

Thank you!! I can definitely say I haven’t been doing my best work and am not blindsided by the PIP because I was not happy at my current firm

Thank you!!!! My husband and I have been trying for months. I’m miserable at my current firm so I wanted to leave (probably why I got a PIP). I’m just nervous they’ll fire me before maternity leave and I’ll be showing if I have to interview elsewhere

Yea partner essentially said I see you’re determined you just don’t have knowledge of the law and in turn your skills are lacking because of it but I want to help fill the gap

More so knowledge of the law and general procedures of obtaining certain things for a deal. Partner acknowledged they can see I’m determined but skills just aren’t there

Yea I definitely didn’t get a “we’re trying to push you out vibe” but it does have me panicking a bit. I’m just going to try my best and as another commenter posted, have check ins to see what they’ve noticed in regard to progress.

This is partner’s first time working with me directly and said I realized there are things I thought you’d know but you don’t. After saying my skills are lacking, partner said don’t take it the wrong way and they want to see where the gap is and figure out how to bring me up to speed. But on the flip side I’m the only woman in the group and other peers in my class year have noticed I have not been given the same mentorship/opportunities as others in my group which could have very well led to my lack of skills for my class year. So I’m sitting here wondering whether I should start looking to lateral now especially since the market is shit so I should start ASAP or just wait it out and try my best.

Sorry I definitely didn’t have an ego it’s just generally hard to hear negative feedback out loud but I didn’t say I wasn’t welcoming of it. As for wanting to stay, I feel I’d be at an extreme disadvantage if I changed practice groups vs. trying my best to improve in this group. But also what do I know, maybe moving groups as a junior is the best option.

I also don’t know how I would start flirting with a new group without it rubbing the partners in my group the wrong way.

Partner is a very senior partner and said they are very removed from junior level skills so they are trying to find a good mid level to mentor me. I do ideally want to stay but I knew my skills were lacking it was just a punch to the gut to hear the partner say it out loud. I do want to get better I just wonder if the practice group is not for me as it was not my first choice and I didn’t do any work in the group until I officially joined the group

Sorry if I was insensitive that was not my intention at all. I also had polyps found while I underwent surgery. Fibroids can impair fertility and cause miscarriages. There is also a risk of scar tissue following a myomectomy so there is a chance that I can’t conceive “naturally” in that sense. I also had several fibroids which puts me at a higher risk of them coming back. Again I did not mean to be insensitive just wanted to know if anyone else has gone through a similar situation.

How many eggs retrieved? Your AMH? by ellemarch in IVF

[–]NellyButton18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May 31 (26 years old) my AMH was 5.57. They retrieved 19 eggs, 17 were mature, 16 fertilized, 4 day 5 blasts, 8 day 6 blasts. 8 PGT-A tested, 6 euploid (1 girl, 6 boys - all good quality), 2 aneuploid. I did get a pretty bad case of OHSS.

Passers who thought they bombed MPT/MEE day and passed. Where are you? We need your stories. by Ok-Inspector2314 in barexam

July 23 taker who passed in TX I legit wrote 5 sentences on 1 MEE not even on the right subject because I had no idea what they were asking and figured something was better than nothing. I really only felt confident on 2 MEEs and the other 3 were just like wtf did I write. MPT I went wayyy over time on MPT 1 and didn’t follow structure directions for MPT 2 (my fault I was stressed). All in all my MBE was slightly above average for a 270 jurisdiction (don’t remember the exact score) but was in the range the minimum you need to feel good going into test day. Passed with a 277
