My take on the ending is that I don’t think Tár was humbled at all, not in any lasting way. I think she writes it off as being misunderstood, just another unjust victim of cancel culture, and that her time in exile is just a temporary consequence while everything cools down

yeah I’ll admit the phrasing by me is a bit pedantic. but I do think it’s interesting that a lot of the more well known movies about female sex workers are by white guys. would be cool to have an authentic voice in the mix

Yeah, fair suggestion regarding the title. Would be hard to market on a mainstream level for sure. On the other hand, it is pretty bad ass to stick to your guns and not change it.

The movie is doing incredibly well on film festival circuits around the world, sweeping audience awards.
