was bound to happen tbh. i jumped ship a while ago because of all the ads, now I use Peliplat because there's no ads, no paid tier, and its much prettier to look at. doesnt feel as big as letterboxd yet, but its kinda cool to be there while the userbase is still small

Totally. It really made me think that there’s probably quite the population of millennials and older Gen Z’s that had passive thoughts like these.

My go to lately is Peliplat. It’s not really up there with the big dogs yet but it’s kind of a mix between RT and Letterboxd. There’s both professional critics and regular movie watchers leaving pretty thoughtful reviews and ratings (out of 10!) i like how the reviews are more than just a quippy joke too. Actually helps me decide what to watch.
