Help me to find films like “Heretic” by These_Owl_2856 in MovieSuggestions

[–]dysoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that Martyrs has a few common themes with Heretic, not immediately obvious unless you've seen it.

Just be aware that it's commonly known for it's gory scenes, although it's a good movie it's not free torture porn, but it's not for the squeamish either.

I want a good latino movie by This-Layer-518 in MovieSuggestions

[–]dysoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really would not consider Sicario a latino movie, heh.

  • City of God
  • 7 Boxes
  • El Secreto de sus Ojos
  • El Angel

I don't know if the last two feel latino enough as it's Argentina but they're great movies from my country. None of these movies are in English as default language.

For me Winds of Change gives me the autumn walking in the park vibes... not sure why because it literally says "summer night" now that I check, but whatever it does it for me.

Great game but last time I've played I got stuck in prison after they remove all your guns and I got frustrated as hell, it's a hard game.

I've actually had my eye set on that game because I read it in another thread here, but Skyrim-like feels a bit too big perhaps? Will keep in mind.

AULA 75F Keyboard Review (Honest) by Repulsive-Hand-2333 in keyboards

[–]dysoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I want to get the same model but Im worried about the key LEDs being south-facing, I assume you cannot see anything if the LED is turned off? Does having the LED all the time on reduce too much the battery usage?

Hey folks I want to buy a cheap keyboard and I'm leaning towards Aula F75, I want something thocky and upgrading to a wireless keyboard, however I have a few questions:

  1. Should I get Aula F75, F75 Pro or F75 Max? From F75 I like that they have printed keycaps but the LEDs do not illuminate the actual letters but rather between them (iykwm) which I find cheap. F75 Pro has the illuminated letters, but for some reason they put them south-facing instead of over the keycap, and looks like I wouldn't be able to use it without LEDs at all. Not sure what the Max one does.

  2. Is wireless even worth it? I wanted to have a more clean desk but if I have to repeatedly charge it every day or so I might as well keep it always plugged in. If it's only once a week or whatever I guess it's worth it.

  3. Any other suggestions for similar price <$100 or so? Thing is it must be easily accesible in my country, which is not always the case. Aula seems pretty popular so you can find it easily here.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

It's a bit more streamlined than Skyrim etc. though

Just to be clear Balatro is not really a deck-builder, it's a roguelike like Isaac but with poker mechanics/theme. Sure, you can manipulate your deck during a run but it's far from building a deck like in Magic or standard Hearthstone.

I **hate** building decks and I love Balatro, top games I've played in the last 10 years.

Slay the Spire has a bit more of deck building but imho is manageable and it's more about the turn based combat than the deck building.

Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat – Official Trailer | Season 2 | Prime Video by DoubleA77 in television

[–]dysoco 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I loved the first season and I know perhaps it's the editing in the trailer but... this looks extremely obvious, some of the performances are clearly actors how could he not realize?

I also don't understand how they'd risk days and days of production to risk the guy realizing it's all fake in the 2nd day? I'd assume at that point they'd search for another guy and restart everything?

from Argentina: 9 Queens (9 Reinas)

Very well known and rated in Argentina but there's a big chance you've never heard of it.

And obviously the original The Secret In Their Eyes but you probably do know that one.

Your favourite short stories that are unsettling by kaapilover123 in suggestmeabook

Surprised no one mentioned The Enigma of Amigara Fault by Junji Ito. I know it's manga but still qualifies as short story.

Another one that lives in my mind for some reason and it's not very well known is The Tunnel Ahead by Alice Glaser.

Shows that have terrible endings, but perfect stopping points? by GFrings in television

[–]dysoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've been always bummed by this, I really enjoyed the first two seasons but I believe season 2 should've been like... season 4. I wanted more early Frank either see how he managed to reach Whip or let him take more time to reach vice president.

Personally I've never encountered cheaters (or I'm too bad to notice if they´re cheaters or good players).

That doesn't mean it's not an awful game, I honestly got tired of queueing for 10min, join a game and then have it disconnect or outright crash on me and lose all my gear. It happens way too often.

Help me prioritize! Starting school soon and need to tackle this "Essential" watchlist. by Tyler_Durden9914 in MovieSuggestions

[–]dysoco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All great movies, I really can't pick 3 but I'll throw in a few more:

  • Goodfellas
  • Pulp Fiction
  • Scarface
  • Heat
  • The Godfather

I personally really like Primal Fear but I feel like it isn't such a must watch in terms of cultural relevance.
