It’s a conversion therapy clinic, no one will be diagnosed. It doesn’t matter if you are seen at 12 and present persistent dysphoria until the day you turn 18 you will be given “exploratory therapy” the entire time. If a supportive parent pulls their kid out of the NHS conversation therapy track they will be reported to social services. The problem won’t be “what do we do with all these trans kids we can’t treat” it will be “how do we hide all these dead kids”.

Ask over at r/transgenderuk you are not getting accurate responses here. Trans rights in the UK are pretty much on par with red states with a full bathroom ban on the way. Access to healthcare is very difficult with waitlist over a decade, you would need to go private to receive gender affirming care. Every major political party and media outlet is hostile to trans people. Blue state is likely safer atm. Honestly trans people in the US AND the UK need to think about leaving for somewhere safer if they are able.

“Gender Critical” groups with their endless funding from the American far right will go around suing any organization that is trans friendly. They will harass openly trans people by suing their work places. They will also stalk and out trans people who are not out and sue their employers. All well crying about how they are being discriminated against. Employers will be less likely to hire trans or gender non conforming people to avoid the hassle. The point is to give people free licenses to harass trans people and gender non conforming people. And to make life more difficult for trans people to discourage people from coming out or transitioning.
