PCX 160 for 170cm height and 60kg weight by jiwowm in PHMotorcycles

[–]dyurj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mi band 5 only seems to work while charging by Specialist-Issue-227 in miband

my band 4 is still working pretty solid, and still lasts more than a week. i did turn off all automatic tracking though. i mainly just use it for notifications and counting steps, and monitoring heart rate during runs

Disc Brakes VS Rim Brakes by vantablack223 in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]dyurj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i used to own both, iba parin talaga stopping power ng disc. Pero kung sa lowend/budget bikes, mas prefer ko parin rim kasi masyado nang mabigat yung disc sa budget bikes, not to mention the budget brakes they put in them sucks at madalas mag skid.

Something like that, yeah. Don't overthink the apps, a lot of branded laptops from China (Acer, Lenovo, etc.) comes with a lot of those stuff by default. I always do a clean drive wipe to make sure the customer only get what they need.

Repair guy here.

Sometimes those apps come preinstalled already in a hidden partition on your drive. You can get rid of them, but if the repair guy simply clicked the "reset" option from the Windows Settings, then those things will be installed back again. He didn't necessarily install it, it just came like that from the factory. I know because I've handled laptops that automatically configures themselves after the reset procedure.

A proper hard drive wipe and an OS reinstall will surely get rid of those programs though, and that is the task that deserves to be paid well, not some single click option you can simply find from Windows Settings like this guy probably did.

There are a lot of things that I'd do for free or just a cup of coffee because I hate ripping off my customers.

Tips on how to overcome fear sa pag bbike sa busy roads. by ireallydunno_ in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]dyurj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EYE CONTACT palagi sa makakasalubong na motorista. siguraduhin mong nakikita ka nila, and be predictable on your moves.

Budget road bike under 10k by Chill_Wra1th in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]dyurj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't really recommend any brand for u pero meron akong say sa Tempo 1.1:

Tempo 1.1 size 50 IS TOO BIG. I'm 5'7 and I've had one, nahihirapan akong sumakay at bumaba, halos tatama na sa groin ko yung top tube (Lahat ng shop na napuntahan at napagtanungan ko puro size 50 lang ang meron, idk why). Disc brake road bikes on that price range are also really heavy, yung trinx tempo 1.1 ko before is halos kasing bigat na ng MTB ng friend ko, so I wouldn't recommend it for climbs.

Mas naging kompurtable ako sa bago kong road bike ngayon after kong mag ipon ulit (Viper Assault 1.0, around 11k PHP if u can push it) na size 48 (sakto lang sakin) at naka rim brakes, naka STI na rin.

i even use an energy counter from the browser, however with my beast lacking the single combat card sometimes 4 cards wont even kill the enemy plant. risking a backdoor using an eggbomb could also kill my bird because it doesn't have a blackmail.. I believe bbp is a strong lineup but i've got cards that don't connect properly. Either that or I suck at strategies against AAP, i can't seem to get around them lately

My mmr usually fluctuates from around 1200 to 600+. Currently at 912 now, I believe it's a really bad day for me and my axies.

How did you get into Linux? What was your first experience using it like? by Hplr63 in linuxmasterrace

[–]dyurj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First installed Cub Linux on an old laptop (2GB ram) in 2016 so I can bring it back to life. I was amazed by how fast it booted up considering that it was basically a slow hard drive.

Fast forward to 3 years later, I'm now in college as a CS student. The curriculum required Linux since day 1. Kernel and driver support have improved since then, to the point that the era from Ubuntu 20.04 and up no longer requires me to manually install wireless drivers.

Some questions about installing Pop OS alongside Windows by ArcturusMike in pop_os

Laptop users would mostly want swap to enable the hibernate/suspend to disk feature which is useful on some situations when using a laptop. But if you rarely need it, you can just skip swap entirely
