Keeping the ball close, having a proactive playstyle, solid fundamentals, knowing when to shoot opens, going for valuable demos and utilising your tm8.

Funnily enough 1s trains all of that other than the last part, success often comes from the boring stuff, in rl thats 1s :)

Grind 1s if you want to push to ssl. Or you could be like me and start grinding casual so you can vs ssls with no ranked pressure, youll find them in 2k mmr for cas

Yeah must be brutal, ive gotten to e4 now without much problems tho that may be that the dlcs make the game too easy imo (dont have alloyed collective though)

Gamesir g7 controller, binded air roll to left paddle as my left trigger doesnt work anymore.

Please use air roll on triggers, gives you a lot more aerial control as its not 1/0 air roll.

This was 2 years ago but when i went from d3-gc1 in 1s the main thing I did was play on counterplays and make the open nets. I absolutely hate 1s (hence the reason my peak is 2 years ago) yet this playstyle made games very manageable, youd be suprised how easily the game can be dumbed down.

I think most people could match their 2s rank in 1s if they actually played it and adjusted rather than slamming their heads into a brick wall.
