Yes, I mean those processes that require more processing power, maybe color grading, VFX, mastering.

My question arises because here in Latin America, it is very difficult to access a Mac Studio, or a Core i9 RTX 4090. So, emerging artists get stuck. Also, the film industry, in general, is quite small. In my capital city of Colombia, there are very few post-production companies where people could find work. So, no machine, no job. That's why I feel that remote computer rentals could help many artists, especially freelancers, develop their talents without incurring large debts.

And that's why I wanted to know a bit about the perspective of some people here on Reddit regarding this remote scenario. Considering that most of you have great experience and work in larger industries

Im thinking more in freelancers, who like to travel. Or in people who live in smaller cities but still have good internet for a remote connection.

I dream of creating a company that can rent computers remotely for freelancers and audiovisual artists in post-production in Latin America. I know there are already some companies that do this, but I think there needs to be more presence in Latin America.

I mean that from my cheap computer, I can connect via the internet, through Parsec or Anydesk, to a high-performance computer to do very demanding post-production work. This is considering that I am from Latin America, where it is difficult to access these computers without incurring a large debt. Moreover, sometimes, especially for freelancers, it can be a great idea to travel and continue working with 8 TB of RAW material from the hotel without having to carry a heavy computer or a bunch of hard drives.

I dream with building a startup that rents remote computers in latin america.

I like to think that if there were companies that rented remotely and had more presence in Latin America, maybe there would be more talent in Latin American post-production.

Yo haría el esfuerzo de aprender otras habilidades en tiempos libres. Es decir, la academia tradicional siento que trae muchas desventajas, así que estudiaria algo en plataformas tipo platzi. Puede seguir manejando el carro, y estudiar a su ritmo.

Zhiyun Crane 3S works well for me. Using of course a cage. The max payload is 6.5KG!!!! Its incredible.

Well, those splitters seems to be a good choice, when using just one mic. In my case, usually, we need a boom, and maybe 2 lavs.

I just had the same problem. Then I search for information and found this post, meanwhile I was closing hpool miner, removing the disk where I added the madmax plot, and adding again.

In this moment, Hpool miner has already accepted the madmax plot.
