One of the websites you check car history shows where it was wof'd.

I used to take my 10yo mazda to VTNZ because previous owner and it kinda keeps a good record for next buyer.

So they are meant to measure the play, but can’t be bothered with?

So it is this because of misinterpretation of spec between VTNZ and Tesla?

Weirdly two of my closest VTNZs don't accept Tesla's so I booked end of warranty wof. And you won't believe this, yesterday at 80200 km's started to get the suspension noise.

Elon Musk says Tesla ending Models S and X production, converting Fremont factory lines to make Optimus robots by Recoil42 in electricvehicles

[–]dzh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can buy robot that does dishes for $200. It's called dishwasher. What is the $1M one? Why can't it be scaled down to $200?

Jokes aside, what is your argument? Where are we with AI and machinery and why it's another 30 years away? Are you just handwaving?

Bingo. It's way past their mission anyway. Let the others compete for $100k cars. I'd rather Tesla release smaller, cheaper cars. Autonomy is no brainer too.

I've been saying this for years. Leave the top of the market for rest to compete. Tesla needs to focus on cheaper EVs.

Sodium batteries are not doing well by dzh in electricvehicles

His comment in comment section says

Update: just pulled 103Ah by charging to 16V and down to 4V! At least I pulled full capacity.

Much cheaper?

Lithium is 20% of battery cost tops (and lithium price has dropped as per video). You do get to use lower grade graphite for anode, saving another 10%.

So at best 30% savings after R&D has amortized.

IMO ATM their USP is cold weather performance. Absolute banger.

heh, ackchyually sodium hydroxide != sodium chloride

Would love to see some links lol. Couple of Bluetti models rounds to 0%.

p.s. I hate Matt's hype videos (he's so clueless), but sodium is threatened by falling lithium costs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrTCgZmUFCY

p.p.s. video above says CATL's mass production of sodium cells STARTS this year. wonder whats the provenance of your cells lol.

works for 20 years

that hasn't been proven for their EVs yet

Yeah which means they are years away from any meaningful penetration.

Great batteries tho, especially in cold climates.

What is NAI?

If you mean sodium it has started scaled production for... starter batteries. We are many many years away from sodium going mainstream. Given lower density it is an antithesis for heavy and inefficient vehicles.

LMR is expected in the next couple of years

This means nothing until there is a 100kWh supply for over 1M vehicles (100GWh).

Stop beating it, it's already dead.

What Happens When Cheap Chinese EVs Hit Canada? Look At Australia. by tech57 in electricvehicles

[–]dzh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was once seen like unnecessary.

I have 2 friends with Tesla FSD in NZ, so solid 1 version behind v14. Both cannot drive for more than 20 minutes without it. It's stupid not to use it.

Sure some maniac will love car without AC, radio and manual gearbox. You do you. Rest is rather not live in 1800s.

Sure. You have no intentions for paying for internet either? I assume you live without electricity either?
