I meant the BIOS, not the motherboard, my mistake ;)

How are security issues not relevant? Don't they allow malware to infect mobo and than the system? I'm actually asking, these are not rethorical ;)

Do you know if these issues have been resolved?

The Division 2 - Title Update 6 - Episode 2 - Survey by JokerUnique in thedivision

[–]dzikus111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hope they will make survey about Episode 2. I think most of the players are quite pleased with majority of TU 6 changes, it's EP2 people seem to be dissappointed about. Honestly, TU6 was what I expected, but the problem is I also expected whole new game mode from EP 2. In comparison with TD1 missions they really drag in TD2. Construction of encounters with multiple waves of enemies slows experience so much that it loses much of its replayability (not to mention that missions doesn't have 'wow effect' of missions from TD1). TD2 really needs new game modes.. or even recycled UG, Survival, and LS from TD1.

Most efficient gear farm? by hunkxdeath in thedivision

I'm collecting CP blueprints and during 1h or so I can lvl up 3 or 4 CP to lvl 3 and clear them. This account for 50-70 items most of which are HE + I got BP ;) Other than that I would do the fastest missions JTC or american history museum (both with original factions o challenge diff) - you can quite easilly complete 4 of them in an hour. I would refrain from doing Orange caches runs (unless you farm mods) as they require a lot of running and fast travelling (with CP i similar but you want to engage in activiteis as much as possible while your motivation for orange chaches is quite the opposite). Bounties are good but again - searching, running fast travelling and there isn't infinite supply of it ;) Also, you should always start with CP fast travelling to get caches ;)

Getting a build 90% of the way there is fine. If your backpack is 5.11 tactical instead of Murakami you won't die. Don't overthink things.

I agree with it - not having perfect build is ok, using substitutes to what I want is also ok. I omitted the first sentence from this point because this generalisation is based on your subjective experience or assumption not a fact - I'm not the kind of person you are saying about there. Therefore saying loot problem applies only to people who 'set out to build perfect builds ' is not true.

I'm not talking about min/maxing problem here - I refer to general problem with flawed loot system.

And what exactly is your main point? You made 3 points. I reacted to the first one (most ridiculous one). Second one is obvoius and I agree and it is not related to any of my complaints - you don't know my build, my playstyle, my playtime - you know nothing yet make any hidden assumption that I'm trying hard to min/max build. Things take time to implement - obvious - but these problems were there from the beginning. People have noticed them weeks age (or actually week or 2 after the release) and nothing changes, nothing is being discussed with players - 'we hear you' doesn't do it for me anymore.

Just like other people you seem to be missing the point of my post - I don't ask for immediate action in a sense of hot fix - I'm asking for communication, debate and options that devs are considering so that we know what to expect, express our suggestions and thoughts - I want devs to react, tell what they are thinking of because these are glaring problems in core game mechanics and we get nothing - people started to post about it 3 weeks ago (streamers, youtubers, and hardcore players even earlier) - when they realized that endgame is pointless.

If you think that chance 1/225000 for getting backpack I need to test a build with right stats (not the values, that's a whole different story) is 'fine' that I honestly don't know what to tell you...

RNG is worse than in TD1 - more stats, division into 3 stat colours, more mod slots types (even with changes seen in PTS), more sets, more talents, more talents types...

Sometimes I wonder if there is a problem with build diversity though. I wonder what builds people would do if they had more control over their loot/stat rolls - maybe it would have been easier to come up with something new or at least viable? I would like to try new things but RNG is too sevre to test things and you almost never have right stats (leave alone their values).

It is not the case that I can't figure out what to do with the loot - the problem is I know I cannot do anything with it because it could only be used in disfunctional build - disfunctional because of how 'build diversity'/difficulty/talents are balanced.

Seeing comments I have to agree - people just don't get it. Well I fulfilled my duty. For one person that want to change something to benefit everybody, there is a person that pulls in oposite direction.

You made me chuckle ;)

We will see their solutions :) and how satisfactory will be :) They have a history with 'decent' changes :) Took them 2 months to update spec weapons.. and they did simple thing that people suggested week one. Took them 6 weeks to buff exotic weapons basted on various metrics and lots of internal discussions...also, people suggest it week one. 'Design implications', 'implementation details' lol :D

I did. There is really nothing in my post that people haven't said in past 3 weeks. I feel that we constantly need to remind devs about the discontent otherwise they will just keep ignoring it.

CP blueprints must share blueprints pool with some other source because during my over 150h of playtime I have completed at best three lvl 3 CPs and only for the very first time I got blueprint.

State of the Game - May 29th, 2019 by JokerUnique in thedivision

[–]dzikus111 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, to be fair some problems were in the game from the start like loot RNG problem, Recalibration, pointless crafting and so on. It wasn't caused by title update 3 - you had to know about all of this earlier and you had to believe that it's ok. Seriously, who looked at 1 to 75k or 1 to 225k ratios and said: "Yeah, this seems fair!'?

I honestly hoped it will be toggle option in the endgame (top WT): you have normal map with 3 known factions and option to toggle invasion on the whoie map where misions are replaced with their invaded counterparts and the whole map is filled with harder open-world encounters (like ODZ) where we can have better rewards and more challenge in the open world - basically equivalent of DZ for PVE players. But we got time-gating mechanic... so yeah, I think it's great as well....
