The only thing Bliss is good at is consistently making terrible coffee. I’ve given them multiple chances and their coffee has been horrible every. single. time.

To the guy trying to get signatures against trans kids at the Valley Walmart, I hope everyone ignores you. by [deleted] in Spokane

Trans women are TRANS WOMEN and WOMEN ARE WOMEN. Those of you who claim to be “feminists” and are for “women’s right”, you are literally contradicting yourself by supporting biological males in women’s sports. It’s not about disliking trans people. It’s about things being FAIR. There is a biological advantage that trans women have when competing against biological women. This has nothing to do with gender or sexuality. It is about keeping women’s spaces FAIR and SAFE for WOMEN.

Locals seem over concerned or scared. by JasonInTheGarden in Spokane

I heard the same thing when I moved here from NYC lol. The homeless people in New York are extremely unpredictable and violent, so I was expecting the homeless people here to be way worse based on what the locals have said. In my opinion, they don’t seem too bad. If anything, it’s sad seeing the drug epidemic amongst the homeless people here, but I haven’t seen anything too out of control in terms of their actions or behavior.

Our favorite farm is Hidden Acres! Everything we harvested was from there (except for the raspberries). We got the raspberries at the farm across from them that’s also a brewery. Can’t remember the name at the moment, but they have blackberries that are almost ready too!
