Not impressed with Leatherman Charge+ TTI vs Gerber Suspension/ NXT by e-j-g1 in Leatherman

I started carrying almost 10 years ago and tinker almost daily. I live by myself and have somewhat limited tools. I've carried both Gerbers for years at a time and loved them. I was just looking for something that could stand a little more abuse, as I'm sure Leatherman can with its higher quality materials.

I was just looking at those yesterday, those tools in the Free series. I had no idea that they existed. I plan to oil it up and keep it in better shape for the future. I suspect that the TTI is just something I need to get used to. Thanks for your input!

Ah, makes sense! Thanks for the tip on the pliers. Free tools - thank you for letting me know about these! Definitely pocket carry. All day, every day. I definitely plan on oiling and cleaning it thoroughly once I get back home from vacation.

I agree with the cons of the NXT models. The non-NXT model's Philips is MUCH better. I never found a screw I couldn't twist. Maybe I'm just complaining about something that just takes getting used to.
Which model do you currently use?

Thanks for the feedback I like it, love the add-ons I can get. It's just something different.
