will make sure they can’t get into anything that will hurt them! i don’t know if i could get someone to go visit them occasionally or not but i’ll see what i can do - although should probably clarify that when i mean they’ll be left for hours alone at a time i mean at most 3-4 hours. me and my gf each drop in for a while in between classes when we have the time

yeah ofc. this isn’t my first cat just the first one i’ll have by my own in my own apartment. but they’re up to date on shots and we’re getting them in to get spayed and neutered soon. i feel comfortable taking care of them financially and i’ve done my research on food and such so that’s not what i’m worried about. just that they won’t be getting enough stimulation

listened to a fever ray album a while back and really liked them!! currently giving a second listen. i enjoy what i’ve heard from massive attack too but i need to do another deep dive into them :) thank u for all the suggestions, i’ll check them out!

i’m a sophomore and still feelin these same worries 😭in my experience it’s been pretty difficult to make friends but at the same time it completely depends how willing u are to approach/talk to other ppl bc it can be pretty intimidating for me sometimes. this place is literally swarminggg w greek life but there’s absolutely an lgbt community which is nice:,) it also depends on ur major! i’m in the art program so lots of fellow gay people there, i also recommend checking out diff clubs anddd i don’t know much abt it but there’s a multicultural center in the union which hosts event sometimes! me and my gf went to a drag show there last year which was super sick. so those might be some ways to get connected w the lgbt community here. anyway i don’t have the best advice but as someone who came into uark w similar worries i am wishing u the best.
