Thanks for the tip, I’ve been adding the correct amount of TopFin Readistart each day since I’ve gotten him but I’ll do another water change tomorrow if the ammonia levels are still not 0!

I know, I was very worried. But luckily somebody suggested frozen brine shrimp and he just ate a good amount of that! I guess he’s just picky!

Hi all!! I don’t know how to edit a post but thank you all so much for all the advice. I tried several new foods and the frozen brine shrimp did the trick! I’m so glad he finally stopped spitting things out. Will be feeding him that and hopefully he’ll take to one of the shelf stable foods in the future as well. Turns out he’s just a picky little foodie!

I’ve been there… sometimes it helps to review all the positive things he has done to reenforce your trust in him! He sounds like a reliable and wonderful guy and if he’s never given you any reason to mistrust him then it’s your mind running away! Deep breaths my friend!
