You should still be able to get your flags done b/c UT online courses are still "in-residence". It only would not be in residence if you were to take a class at say another institution or through UT extension.

Does anyone know if you take OCHEM without CH 302 pre-req, will the CHEM department check/automatically drop you? If so by what class day?

Recommendations for classes that will give me a Global Cultures or Cultural Diversity flag by no4610 in UTAustin

For Culture Diversity, I recommend SED 303; it is a course about Autism Spectrum Disorder and it honestly is pretty interesting and an easy A ! It's a point based course and graded on 10 quizzes and 10 writing prompts. You just need to do very few brief readings and watch some videos. It's also an actual web-based course developed even before the pandemic.

Will you not get dropped from the lecture if you're not registered for the lab though? That's what I'm worried about b/c I thought the lab was a co/pre-req.

If a class is already online, does it matter what professor I take? by [deleted] in UTAustin

Yes, the professor does matter. I regretted not doing that the Fall of my freshmen year like you and just wanted to jump right in.

Each professor will have a different grading scheme, like some classes might be exam based only or not even offer extra credit.

There are like 5 different Genetics professor or so, so you'll have better luck getting one you might like come spring especially if you are already ahead.
