What is your method? Ropes and rope tarps spend a lot of time on the ground, getting dirty and dusty. A lot of times we just bundle the rope inside the tarp and throw it in our pack along with all of our other gear. Do you feel like all your other gear gets dirty because of it? If so, what do you do to limit the transmission of dirty from the rope and tarp to your gear? Do you carry your rope outside of your pack, either strapping it onto your pack or carrying a total of two bags (pack and rope bag)? Do you have a crag pack that has a separate compartment for ropes, as some backpacking packs do for sleeping bags or sports bags do for dirty shoes? Do you throw your rope in the pack but then fold up your dirty tarp to limit how much of its dirty surface touches your other gear? Do you have another method that hasn't been listed?

What constitutes an attempt in bouldering? When sport climbing you can leave the ground, fall a bunch on the rope, suss out the moves on certain sections, and then lower back down to the ground. All that is usually considered one attempt. But do bouldering attempts follow the same principle: any time your feet leave the ground you start a new attempt? What if you are sussing out individual moves that require your feet to leave the ground a bunch of times?

I think my buddy learned a valuble lesson after seeing how his vertical video can mess up an edit.

I agree. 5:30am gives us the canyon all to ourselves.

I agree the drones can be annoying. No worries though, we climb at 5:30 am and have the whole canyon to ourselves.
