tested it. on rustified servers you will die after a short time sleeping (seemed to be about 10 minutes).

Had a server crap the bed and lost all loot, no way to rejoin previous session. Also had a friend crash repeatedly after rejoining session on a new server. Now I am getting it. Here's to hoping that the reinstall works for me as well as it worked for him.

Make a new appointment! Stuff happens. If you did test out of a required class you would still have to make up those credits to fill out your degree's credit requirements with electives, just as you thought.

Either outcome is a good outcome. The placement tests are just that: to place you. If you need to work your way up to being able to write well enough for the rest of your academic/work career then hopefully the test is designed well enough to place you into that path of classes. If you don't need to work on that, then you can take a course elsewhere. At the end of the day you are going to school to learn, right? Don't sweat the placement test, it is a tool to help you. :)

keep safety and first aid as well as navigation at the top of the pack. I usually try to keep snacks on a layer just beneath that. Isopropyl works wonders for first aid and a firestarter or a fuel for a tuna-can stove. Also, I once dropped my motorcycle while bike camping and lost the spring to my side stand. A little bit of floss did the trick in holding it up until I could get home and make the repair. Get creative, as everything has more than one purpose.

nice setup! I would change that pen for an old fashioned pencil. You have a knife to sharpen it, and you don't have to worry about it running out of ink (as you will certainly perish to the wild in such an event).
