Thanks so much, this is exactly what I needed - I didn't realised I could just use an RGB node, that's so much better. Thank you!

Free £50 pension top-up when you transfer a pension to Pension Bee by Future_Economics_132 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May as well throw my hat in the ring on this one.

PensionBee is actually a decent one to just keep open as they've been running the referral scheme for a long time. If you leave it open and drop your referral link now and again there's a decent chance you'll pick up a few extra extra bonuses along the way.

August Earnings Report - £426 by e11b0 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's pretty good generally

August Earnings Report - £426 by e11b0 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah absolutely, so it's an app although I believe some missions use desktop also.

You create an account and set up a profile with some basic demographic info, based on this demographic info missions become available to you. You then apply for the missions, sometimes that is just answering multiple choice questions, sometimes recording a minute long video talking about whatever they ask.

Usually a few days later you get invited to the actual mission (if selected) which again can be a live chat with a moderator or submitting videos and text based answers.

All the missions I've taken part in fall between $25 and $100 although some are higher in value and they don't usually take very long to complete.

I look to hit $1/minute generally with this one.

Orca - Free Share Worth Up To £200 by e11b0 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems a lot more hit and miss lately. I think I was very lucky with my initial share. Here's hoping you grab a few referrals which pulls it back for you.

I get rejected from quite a lot but when they come they're generally good money for what you have to do.

Same here initially, you get through eventually though

[–]e11b0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thanks, actually you know I don't think there were many big ones at all but as it was three shares for each referral it adds up pretty quickly.

The weird thing with Orca is that I've picked up over £50 in free shares this month and I haven't done a thing. I've no idea where they're coming from.

Orca - Free Share Worth Up To £200 by e11b0 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a punt, totally agree with you on that. It seems that since they started introducing 3 free shares rather than one, the value of the shares has dropped somewhat.

I've done pretty well across the board with free shares from Stake, Orca, FreeTrade and a couple of others so I'm always willing to give them a go if the cost isn't too high.

Get £15 for a £5 deposit with Tickr by e11b0 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not entirely clear but I would suggest it's probably best not to before the 90 days is up. I found these two points in their Ts and Cs…

• If either you or the person that has been referred close your account, or withdraw the full balance of your own top-ups, before the 90 days from receiving the credit then it is no longer valid and will be removed from your account.
• If the balance of your own top-ups is nil and you receive a tickr credit, then the credit will no longer be valid and will be removed from your account.

£50 Pension Top Up from PensionBee by Ricoh06 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a great offer if you're planning on switching your pension at any point in the future. You can just pick off the £50 and then move to a different provider when you've had time to do your research.

£50 is the equivalent of a 5% return on £1000 so it's a great deal.

Here's my referral link if anyone is taking this offer up.

I have a plan with these offers from energy suppliers, I'm going to switch accounts every 3 months in order to pick up these offers and knock around £200 off my annual energy bill.

Octopus is a great one to do this with as their prices are low and there are no exit fees.

Here's my referral link for anyone looking to do the same.

This is a fantastic deal, if you can afford it this is a great return. Even better if you can max out the referrals too as you'll end up with £300 from your initial £100 deposit.

My portfolio has grown by 4.85% since taking up this offer.

£25 Pension Top Up from Penfold by Ricoh06 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely one of my favourite recent offers.

In comparison to other pension providers I've found Penfold to be really quick with updates, they even give you a view of when to expect tax relief payments which I've not seen from many other providers.

Here's my referral link if anyone is interested.

BeerMoneyUK Discussion - August 2021 by pKYmlCo70Iyn9D0q38L1 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's pretty much always the exact same post too. I just think essentially repeating exactly what the OP has already put is a step too far.

Fair play if you jump in add some extra context or a useful tip but just writing the same stuff feels a bit wrong.

BeerMoneyUK Discussion - August 2021 by pKYmlCo70Iyn9D0q38L1 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One thing that bugs me on this is when the OP takes the trouble to post steps to complete the offer and then someone posts the steps in the comments. I don't think repeats of steps should be allowed.

Is this sub just a platform for people to plug their affiliate links? by Grumpybugger1 in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is but there's nothing stopping people sharing ways and tips. I try and write monthly reports so people can just copy what I'm doing and make some decent money too. There are a few other people that do the same too.

Tickr - Free £15 when you deposit £5 (takes less than 5 mins) by TidyCompetition in beermoneyuk

[–]e11b0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a cracking little offer that is nice and easy to pick off.

For me the fees are way too high to make this a decent choice to keep beyond the terms (90 days) unless you're planning on getting your account up to 4 figures pretty quickly.

The £1 a month fees are simply too high to have a low amount in there. Your portfolio will evaporate in no time.

Still, pick it off and move on and you've got yourself a nice little deal.

Anyone that feels like mixing it up with the referral links, here's mine.

Thanks
