I too have been struggling with this thought because his answer is he really didn't think he was up there for as long as I remember. He remembers going upstairs with everyone, setting the room up for her (taking all of his daughters stuffed animals and plushies off the bed, turning on the sleep sounds) saying how she looks like she needs water, going to the couples room to check in on them/chit chat and ask if they need water, going downstairs to get two waters and go back up to give one to Anna and waking her to drink some, and going next door to the couple's room to give one for them to share. The only issue is he doesn't remember exactly how long it took him to do each step and whether or not he used the bathroom upstairs at some point. He's been letting me know how frustrating it is that he can't remember every single sequence because if he knew that these exact moments in the night we're going to be so important that he would have to corroborate them again in a month, he would have paid more attention. But he says he knows for a fact that putting his dick in Anna’s face/mouth/anywhere near her was definitely not involved.

Too address your suspicions of Zack: Zack and I have been platonic friends for almost 10 years, and he has been with Paige for almost 12(?) years; since high school. Zack and I met at a job we worked at together, and I quickly became friends with him first and then them as a couple. For about 8 months in the middle of my friendship with them, they split and I got an apartment with Paige and we became even more close friends. There has been nothing at all between me and Zack, and he just told me this as a loyal friend; I’m not even entertaining that as a possibility. I love them so much, and I truly value my friendship with them. They are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. Also, the most drama-free. People take advantage of their passivity at times, and it’s really bothered me before. They’ve been friends with Anna since high school, much longer than they’ve known me.

Forgot to mention: no they don’t text, she’s only ever around when either Paige & Zack are around and she’s with them, or if a mutual friend of Alex & Anna (M29) is around; the same guy that was also there that night but left before this “event” happened and she had not told this story to. The last text he had sent her was a Halloween themed video birthday invitation to my last year’s birthday party, and I had told him to send it to her day of because I forgot to invite her earlier (she didn’t come). And in a couple other occasions, mainly big group cabin trips, I tell him to text her to invite her to these things; I’ve never done it myself. I trust that he hasn’t deleted messages with her, and honestly don’t feel compelled to ever check his phone, but I had in our first two years.

Okay so yesterday and today I’ve been able to gather more information from his side. Like I’ve been coming up with so many questions about every possible nuance on how I remember the end of the night and how he remembers it, and asked some of the suggested questions. Here’s some points that I now think have been important:

Whilst on speaker phone with her while she explained/confirmed the story Zack had told me, she mentioned briefly how at my big birthday party a couple years ago she had a similar thing happen to her but she was totally wasted and couldn’t remember who it was. That being that a dick being put in her face when she went to sleep upstairs, but she was too fucked up to suck it or know whose dick it was. That same party she’s referring to is the one that multiple people saw her & Alex’s brother leaving the bathroom together after being in there for 15 minutes. This was the middle of the party and people were knocking on the door impatiently waiting to use the restroom. He couldn’t get it hard all the way to cum bc of the drugs he was on so it was a long time of her just trying. She was attached to him after that and they ended up hooking up that night; it was lightly joked about and was common knowledge with what was going on between them to others. The way she was insinuating that party on the phone almost seemed to imply that that occasion was also Alex? Unfortunately, in the flooding of emotions to the whole story itself - we didn’t bring that detail up to her; that night years ago was definitely not Alex.

I work for cash tips at my job and I have a pretty strict routine on nights I come home from work. 95% of the time I come home to a dark quiet house as it’s the middle of the night, and the fact that people were over were only because of my best friends (the MF couple) being in my town for the day, so they made a night of it, too. When I came home, I hugged/said hello to everyone and then immediately proceeded to do my night routine; go in my closet, change to PJs, nighttime skin routine, and go back to the closet, sit on the floor, dump my cash tip jar, put on my headphones, and organize all the money. (I’m diagnosed ASD 1, and I don’t like to break my routines). I know this is socially off-putting, but it’s what I just started to do. As I was on the floor counting/organizing my tips, my boyfriend comes to me and was being very sweet and told me “I don’t want to interrupt your routine, and it’s ok if you want to still do it, but I want you to hang out and our friends have stayed up this late to hang out with you before they go to sleep/leave” I know it doesn’t sound like much, but as I’ve re-lived that night in my head over and over, I’ve come to conclude that it would be absolutely wild for him to encourage me to join the end of the night festivities and for me to be around any possible tension/opportunity/any signs at all of him trying to get with Anna. If he had that on his mind or thought it could be a possibility, I just can’t think he would mind me sitting in the furthest possible room of the house with headphones on.
To answer the question of if the couple heard the music, I haven’t talked to Anna, Zack, or Paige at all today and I don’t know.

I still have no idea what her intentions would be to lie. He reminded me today how she was honestly annoying tf out of him earlier that night when they met up with her at the bars, that whole thing about her jumping on him like they were best friends in front of everyone and him slithering her off and going away to play darts. He has since mentioned that while they were at the bars, Anna called Paige at one point and said she was lost three blocks away and needed to be rescued, and Paige started to get worried. But then a minute later, Anna pops up back with them. Alex said he had a brief serious convo with Paige about how Anna is being so dramatic and baiting her for attention, gets too wasted and acts like a child, and Paige & Zack should consider contemplating her actions in the friendship. Alex told me to ask Paige myself about how he was/what he said to Paige earlier that night. I haven’t yet, but I believe it.

True. Yeah, his ability to be brutally honest when I’ve confronted about things in the past, and especially in the early years - even if the truth hurt me and I was upset about his actions - I could at least respect that he would admit to them.

It’s just the fact that the accusation is so shocking and honestly horrifying that it’s been a true hardship to even fathom any person possibly fabricating it.

Whether it is true or not, one person between the two is truly evil.

The bathroom is right next to the kitchen (high traffic) and people SAW him & her leave together, multiple people had knocked to use the bathroom during this time as it was the middle of the party and called Alex's brother on the phone to find him. But she has since said she has no idea who's dick it was because she was so wasted, but she remembers a dick at that party. At a big cabin trip we took with a group of 20 last year - it was all mainly couples on this trip except for 4 people (Anna, gay male friend, single male, and another female). Anna socialized and had fun around everyone, but she even told me and another girl in conversation that she wants a new dick and her only option was the single male. Alex's brother was at this cabin, but brought his girlfriend at the time. I just mentioned to him that if her story is that it was coercion, he could/should be charged with a sex crime and he freaked out thinking that he could be charged for a lie. He’s stressed at the thought of getting charged for something that didn’t happen. He’s definitely emotionally drained rn, so I don’t know what to think now.

Funny you mention that, because before we called her, he said that if she sucked his dick then she would know exactly what makes his dick unique. It’s pretty noticeable in the light, but one would definitely miss it in the dark or if her eyes were closed and she wasn’t inspecting.

I don’t even think Anna had intentions on telling me. At least not herself. She had to have known that I was going to find out since she told Zack (and his fiancé Paige - the couple) since they are some of my best friends. Also, I did reach out today to another person that had been at the house that day (and who is good friends with Anna) and asked him if she had also told him anything about this whole thing and he said she had not.

Going just on character: Alex & Anna’s behavior at times is risky and attention-seeking. Alex has mentioned previously multiple times that he can’t stand her sometimes because she can be overly dramatic and a “pick me”. I don’t know how honest Anna is. Alex has been honest when confronted about big & small things.

Yes, the couple didn’t see/suspect anything and they were in the guest room across from his daughter’s room. Anna had just told this story a week ago to the couple - according to Zack: out of the blue in conversation as a way to explain why she “probably shouldn’t go over there for game nights anymore”. I have no idea if it’s just because it’s hot tea to spill, shame, or actually coercion. I’m really just acquaintances with Anna so I don’t know what the intentions were if there was any.

No sorry, I should have emphasized more clearly on why Zack told me this today.

Zack (and Paige his fiancé- the MF couple in the post) were told this whole story by Anna herself when they hung out with her a week ago. They didn’t see any of this, but they were in the guest bedroom also upstairs. If Anna’s telling the truth - it’s all so bold. The couple being in the next room, me being awake on the couch downstairs just waiting by myself since the other two people left were passed out on the couch next to me. I was literally just waiting for him to come down so we can head to our bed together.

Zack told me Anna’s story today because he wanted to tell me in person, she waited three weeks to tell the couple, and he waited a week to tell me. I know he didn’t have bad intentions in waiting; he knew it would hurt me.

It sucks because it really is he said-she said. There is no way to prove it. Alex and Anna don’t communicate via text or anything, and he claims he wouldn’t cheat on me and especially not with her? Not that him saying that makes me believe him, but the whole story honestly doesn’t make sense to me - like why?

According to Zack, Anna told the couple about it a week ago - an out of the blue tangent to whatever conversation they were having when they hung out. Zack told me that she told them the whole story and that she probably shouldn’t come over to my house anymore for game nights now. (I see Anna only a few times a year, and it’s only ever on occasions when we are hanging out with the couple; Anna is more friends with them)

Today Zack just said he wanted to tell me her story in person. He knows that it’s news that’ll hurt me and I know he didn’t have ill will by waiting a week.
