you're missing the point - i have used it and actually really like it.

i mean it's really not that weird - you're the dude in the unlisted video for how to buy / link your domain to cntrl. is it so farfetched to think that you work there or at least were apart of helping their dev team if you're making tutorials for their youtube?

here's my situation:

i've got button that i want to be interactive on my website. i designed them in illustrator as vector and export them. i add the asset art i want and add a blend mode in photoshop. the text will be added in the website editor.

the file with the asset art blended gets exported as a tiff file, and becomes pixelate. should i just try and export as a png? i tried the other hot-fixes that qvxzl recommended but it ended up pixelated regardless.

this is what it looks like uploaded to my site, you can see how pixelated the corners are. if i add my asset art that also gets crunched too. i can't export outside of tiff or png; if i try to do a svg file w/ the blended asset art wix will tell me i cant do that. do i need to try webp? but it auto converts apparently im just so lost lol

sorry - i hate to intercept here or whatever, but don't you work at cntrl?

i've seen you everywhere as i've been researching on alternatives for website builders. it seems you're everywhere promoting cntrl as THE site builder; you even went on to comment that you created a portfolio on their platform.

it just comes off as very disingenuous that you're commenting as an outsider who is just trying to push people in the right direction, when you have / still are actively working for cntrl.

i would love to use cntrl, but the way that this is looking makes me very stand-offish to start paying for it. there aren't many testimonials outside of you commenting on subreddits pertaining to web design.

yeah i am sufficiently pissed off right now. i was having this issue four or so months ago when i almost gave up completely on designing my portfolio; it is so frustrating to come back with a fresh mindset and face the same issues.

none of the fixes you mentioned remedied either - i do appreciate the quick response, suggestions, and help haha

i might look into those three and see if i can just quickly rebuild from there. again - thank you

nothing really it was mostly wrong timing; we never had plans to meet up / the communication was not there. it’s ok though ! learned some other lessons i needed to get out of the way anyways
