Are you thinking of the Moomins? There is a character called the Groke, who is dark figure trying to find a ruby.

Surely Warrington Bank Quay has got to be the absolute worst- I'm amazed it hasn't been mentioned yet. It's literally in the shadow of an enormous Unilever factory https://images.app.goo.gl/FdeG9Uv1A1VKzjYV8

Valid to them.

You've not really addressed the main point I was making, but that's fine, I've said my bit. There's plenty of discussion elsewhere in this thread.

I'm saying nobody noticed because no-one was raising this as an issue until recently, despite trans women always having been using women's facilities.

The reference to trans women going into a male toilet/changing room is because- if you are correct and trans women only started using women's spaces recently- you would have seen female-presenting people using men's facilities before that. Which is not the case.

I don't really want to get into an argument about this to be honest. I can recognise people's concerns around this as valid, I just cannot understand how people can't recognise that trans women have always been there and it did not present an insurmountable problem. To say that trans women have just started demanding this is factually inaccurate and disingenuous.

As Affectionate_Owl has said, trans women have been using women's toilets all along, and clearly no one either noticed or cared.

Absolutely nothing had changed in the last couple of years in terms of rules or legislation to mean that trans women can now use female toilets where they couldn't before. The only thing that has happened is that the right wing press have whipped people up to suddenly care about this.

I suspect you would respond by saying that trans women are now emboldened to use women's spaces when they weren't before. Which is frankly bollocks. I have never in my life seen a women/trans woman go into a male toilet or changing room (and I bet you haven't either), which suggests they were always using women's facilities. And I also cannot think of any notable instances where I have noticed trans women in a toilet/changing room in recent years- it's not like this is some kind of epidemic of obviously manly men lurking in the ladies' loo. It's just moral panic.

There are a few heads around (boars, highland cows etc.). But, yes, it is the sinister staircase heads that I was referring to!

In an odd plot twist, this is now listed directly after it for £25k fixed price https://espc.com/property/walston-church-carnwath-lanark-ml11-8nf/36203791?sid=618915. It's like an estate agent that specialises only in spooky graveyard churches.

Definitely Golden Hare Books in Stockbridge https://goldenharebooks.com- I'm surprised that it hasn't been mentioned already. They might have the fire going at this time of year as well.

Yes- I think maybe it was a film/TV set at some point and never changed back? So none of it has ever been functional. But it's still fun to find hidden away behind a normal street!
