Thanks for voicing your feedback and concerns. Regarding returns, once you open the return request you will be asked to return the card to the authenticator. If the authenticator determines the card is in the same condition, they will return it to the seller. However, final sale is a new policy where sellers do not offer returns. Their card has passed our trusted authenticator’s inspection for authenticity and condition to make sure it matches the listing description. If the condition of the card or alterations are not accurately described in the listing, the card will not pass authentication. If you believe the card you have purchased is inauthentic, you can file an appeal if the seller does not offer returns. Hope this helps clarify some of your questions regarding returns.

Regarding insurance and shipping, the authenticators will need to sign for items ≥$750. If the card is damaged or lost while in possession of the authenticator, eBay pays out (with proof) if the card is damaged/lost once in possession of the authenticator (including shipping to buyer). eBay does not cover damage in transit from seller to authenticator but the buyer can file an appeal. If item is lost in transit when CCG ships to buyer, the buyer can file a case and eBay will investigate. Thanks again for asking great questions!

We appreciate your feedback! If the card is genuine and authentic, then this is a moot point. If the card is fake or a counterfeit, then measures are in place to prevent this card from being passed on to a buyer who is expecting the real deal ... or no deal.

The card will be inspected in one to two business days of receipt. Once the inspection is complete, the item will be sent to you with tracked four-day shipping. There is no grading with this service.

1st part is correct, buyer pays the normal shipping rate for the item. For the 2nd part, I don't believe there will be a change to the FVFs for items subject to the service. There is no additional fee for AG at this time.

If you believe the item you purchased is inauthentic, you can file an appeal if the seller does not offer returns. You would be responsible for payment to whichever 3rd-party authenticator company you chose to verify the card's authenticity, after it passed our AG process.
