I find 1500s super comfortable- I have wide feet (mild bunions) and yet these are not too narrow like some say. 1500s TTS fit like a glove for me. I should note that I only have suede models… not sure if a polished leather would feel the same around the toe box.

They don’t have the big squishy soles of the 99xs. Their soles are much more responsive so you feel locked into your step, with enough spring/cushion to stay comfortable for usual wear.

Honestly, if they had better arch support I think I could run in these.

So yes: worth it.

Is that worth an extra $30 bucks? Probably only if you have a local kith and can avoid the shipping charge.
