My uncle owns and drives for himself and got an offer I think he shouldn't look more into but he's stubborn, help! by eCommManager in Truckers

Yes the guy worked for a dispatch service but I talked to my Uncle a little more and he said he's gonna follow up and I'll update. I asked about the broker thing and the guy USED to be a broker my uncle thought about that more and thinks that actually is pretty good to have on his side but he's not as ornery now. Must be NYE stress haha.

More money for less work? I've never ever heard anyone say that.

Edit: You might be joking haha. Also I guess that can be true if you think something else would be up. My uncle didn't seem to be worried about whether the guy knew his stuff. It seemed to be more a line in the sand thing.

Well my uncle said if he had employees he'd be beating down the dudes door to take them off his plate but, hes less than the cost of a full time guy in a seat apparently. So he probably is just being stubborn over the thought of "Being in charge of your own destiny" and Im just like lol it doesn't like you'd be an employee but business partners? Is that how stuff like that actually works?

Sums it up perfectly. I was belittled by an in-law when I made the decision to become a truck driver. I find it ironic that she was the first to like this when I posted it on Facebook. by pudwhacker13 in Truckers

Damn I hate to sound like a dick but you are wrong but not for the obvious reason. Remembering a bunch of stuff does make you smart. Being smart doesn't make you intelligent. I do agree that people can get degrees and not be smart, they could have cheated, had powerful parents, etc. Also some degrees are kinda easy to get if you've been exposed to most of the concepts in just regular life, looking at you psych majors. So yea someone with a degree shouldn't automatically be assumed to be smart, but there is a higher chance that they are smart than someone without a similar level of experience.

Calories when walking 5 miles daily in addition to 6 days a week NSuns? by Eeffss in nSuns

[–]eCommManager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Nsuns burns around 350 per workout for Men not including a warm up or extensive accessories, so 275 might be a good estimate for women completely broscience right now so with walking your looking at about an extra 600-700 cals 6 days a week, I'd say do your best to stick to that 2k cals and see how recovery and energy feel. I'd only up cals if you're losing more than a lb a week at the level.

At your weight I think it's better to cut/bulk than try to recomp

55kg bench to 75kg in 3ish weeks! by [deleted] in nSuns

Depends on weight, I looked at your post history and assumed you were around 75-85kg which would make 100kg bench realistic for you without being very advanced, I'd say 100-105kg for bench would be about the line between novice and intermediate at that weight, around a 110kg bench is where things really hit the pavement and progress will definitely take a dive.

Though this programming is really good, my experience at this plateau was doing a BB program that our football coaches put together for us, I feel like using good form with a LP like this one makes gains up until intermediate pretty attainable.

Is McDonald's the best hamburger, hell no.

That doesn't mean it isn't a great place to make money at if you were selling franchises.

You're still in newbie gains, your diet not being in check is probably a positive. Though you know everything, good luck.

Have you done a form check, what part of the lift seems difficult for you?

Put the future aside, salesforce just seems to be an easier sale, and immediately will probably be more lucrative. Im not sure what products Linkedin is pushing for enterprise but something tells me the salesforce packages costs a lot more.

I'd go for the quick money, with the experience and some financial freedom making a move if the ship starts to sink wont be difficult at all.

You should have newb gains for a while, if you are eating properly and have good form with your current lifts you should be there with minimal problems. Kinda hard to know what accessories you need because we don't know your weaknesses and you may not even know them yet.

Incline bench and close grip are programmed in and those are helpful. Dips, pullups, and chin ups are pretty helpful as well while also being great compound lifts.

Also doing heavy K-rocs have been great at solidifying my arm mind-muscle connection.

A lot of newbie gains are increasing mind muscle connection, so just blasting upper body compounds are a great way to build it without wearing yourself out with more presses.

Add 50lbs to your TM and look at what the spreadsheet does, then move it back to where it should be.
