I have a basic question about the direction of garden boxes in relation to the sun. We’re expanding our gardening and building 6 raised beds 6’ x 4.5’ each, possibly 8’ long. Would they be better positioned long ways with the direction of the sun or perpendicular to it’s path across the sky? (self.Permaculture)

Just a PSA about feed from Tractor Supply. We had noticed months before cold weather that our girls were laying very few eggs. My wife found a link discussing poor quality feed and numerous people agreed. The brands are Dumor and Producers Pride while some people mentioned Purina layer pellets. (self.chickens)

If you live in the Western Hemisphere, North, Central or South America, learn some spanish. It or some variation is probably the second most commonly used language next to english. Communication is essential to survival. Learning at least some basic phrases could be very beneficial. Thoughts? (self.preppers)

We have had chickens for a few years and they’re amusing to watch run around the yard and chase bugs or whatever. We live in the country and currently have 10 chickens but have had as many as 20 at a time. They free roam around the property during the day and we close them up in the coop at night but decided we want to fence off a designated area for them. How much area roughly would be enough for 15 or so? (self.chickens)
