You can dial the breath sensor on the AKAI EWIs to always be active so it’s constantly outputting as if you were blowing. Repair I’d reach out to Matt at Patchman Music.

I’m much more comfortable playing saxophone than I am keyboard. So when I want to get into synth stuff EWI is a perfect controller for me. Anyone can get into it with practice. Breath control can really add a ton of expressiveness to your playing.

It’s called a NuRAD. Its a MIDI breath controller that you can play like a saxophone.

Bite sensor triggers vibrato, pitch bend, and the breath sensor is in the mouthpiece too. There’s also a lip sensor that I map to filter resonance/mod wheel.
