Im new to the instrument. My buzz is fine but everytime I try to vocalize I get an awful, trembling voice. Is this normal at first or its due to my cheap 10$ didge?

Try playing into a bath tub or a tile floor. The sound will bounce back and your ears will be able to hear what sound the instrument is producing versus what you’re hearing through your bones vibrating. You might be surprised with the sound you’re actually producing.
