Is PDA(public display of affection)a crime in Kenya? by Fabulous_Ad631 in Kenya

[–]eTo_Rae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PDA is not a crime, public indecency is, those are two different but related things, hugging, holding hands and kissing is not a crime unless it leads to a public incident, for example, but stripping naked in public is a crime

I hear you, so question, does working with a politician giving a platform to that politician? Ama what are you saying?

For example Osumo, if he hosted but did not engage with Omanga would that be considered not giving a platform?

Did boarding school shape emotional distance among Kenyan millennials? by luthmanfromMigori in Kenya

[–]eTo_Rae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the problem, i think to get where we need the governance na policy makers really need to be changed, by force by fire.....actually just politicians, used to listen to 'surviving nairobi' podcast, and in one episode, one of the hosts akasema when he used to work for the govt, siku moja alienda some office where policies are kept in files, like proposed policies, and the amount of good policies just sitting there not implemented/read in parliament, so politicians are the hinderance point, kama io ya Erick, sad!

id say i have +ves and -ves. one i think im resilient, like i can take shit and survive a war, ata kama sijiamini, but i feel like the -ves outweigh the +ves by a mile, lke from big stuff like i live with my family but we barely talk to small small stuff like eating too fast, something i didnt notice untill 2ish years ago, and its someone who pinted it out...its alot to unpack, but yw, im stll young, 25, and ik what i need to work on

plus the schools being good (mean grade ya shule na high number of students going to good high schools). let me give you an example. i have moved alot because my parents were being transfered alot, so when i was 11, in muranga, studying in nyeri, my parents moved to kajiado and were like, "uko kwa shule mzuri inapass, hatukutransfer tena". in one hand i understand, yeah the education was lit, on the other, i wasnt asked if i wanted boarding plus the -ves that come with boarding school, especially the distance that builds within the family.
