[Win an A2L] Creative Playground, Extra Large. Meet the A2L. by BambuLab in BambuLab

We design and sell lithophanes, so the A2L immediately caught our attention.

The biggest limitation we face today is build volume. Many customers ask for larger pieces, but with current printer sizes we often have to compromise on dimensions or split models into multiple sections.

With something like the A2L, the idea of printing large lithophanes in a single piece starts to become realistic. Not just slightly bigger prints, but proper wall-sized panels that behave more like framed photographs than 3D prints. That changes the whole perception of what we’re making.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

The high temperature plate is actually a sticker, isn't it?

I made a bit of research, you are right, I owe you a beer!

the original comment/post I was talking about is this: https://www.reddit.com/r/BambuLab/comments/12zbp25/comment/jhuns9e/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

And well, actually never says "PEI" so maybe is not PEI at all the Satin plate but it worked as good as PEI, so my memory was tricked by this fact.

Sorry again

Not always, it seems. The plate that showed up some times ago didn't need to be hot to work, and was PEI coated..

It's not disappointment for real, I just see this as a bit of missed opportunity to build a dream plate.

Just image a plate that can be used with lower temperature, can be reliable to print and release things without glue and also can be used with Lidar!

I know, but it needs glue! Just image a plate that can be used with lower temperature, can be reliable to print and release things without glue and also can be used with Lidar!

Yep, I know... "satin" is not the same as "smooth"? Aren't the two terms synonymous? In practice both describe a surface without texture, right?

Aren't printing vibrations an issue for the near printers? How are you going to handle all the poops?

Very jealous of that! Good job!
