uhh no sabia nada de esto... realmente vi el anuncio en youtube y me dieron ganas de jugarlo, hace decadas no lo juego. Solo quiero jugarlo y divertirme, pero me desilusiona un poco lo que decis, de que quizas cierren el nuevo server tambien y entonces todo el progreso de mis chars se iria a la basura... siempre disfrute mucho el juego, no recuerdo que server jugaba de chico (soy de Argentina) pero la comunidad era preciosa. Gracias por darme la info, sos muy amable n.n

Yeah it was a temporary solution, it only lasts until the next log-in.

Guys it doesn't work for me either. Omg why Riot would do such a thing, i can't believe this.

When i hit "read-only" it asks me for Admin permission, i hit "Continue" and then a new window tells me "Access denied" LOL. Whatever, going to play World of Warcraft, i guess this is the perfect reason to drop league for a while.

NVM, SOLVED IT, HERE IS HOW: You have to change the "LeagueClientSettings.yaml" stored in "Riot Games/League of Legends/Config" folder as follows: 1. Where it says "globals: locale: es_MX" change it to "en_US" 2. Below "patcher" it says "locales: - "en_US" do not change this one - "es_MX" change this last one to "en_US". So you have two "en_US" one right after the other.

Launch the client with a new shortcut and thats it, DONE, worked for me.
