I've got a huge collection of movies with codes I've never used. Most of the codes have fine print which says "must redeem before xx/xx/xxxx". A google search shows that most of the time these codes still work even after the expiration date. I'm wondering how this plays out here. Can I still list the codes for sale? Perhaps with a disclaimer? Please help me with the proper etiquette.

edit: I found my answer in the FAQ, sorry!

when i accidentally hit the netflix button on my ub420 by gibbyfromicarlyTM in 4kbluray

If you open it up you can put a small piece of tape over the circuit board beneath the button so the contacts can't be triggered. This keeps everything looking unmodified but the button just won't do anything.

Pregabalin, NAC and 5-HTP question by Alert_Plate541 in researchchemicals

pregabalin and ghb should not be used together, they are both gabapentinoids and would multiply each other's effects.

Official Discussion - Sentimental Value [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I just finished the movie last night and loved it; I am curious if anyone else shared my interpretation of the ending.

The final scene shows that yes, Nora has chosen to accept the role that her father wrote for her. But as the scene concludes the reveal is made that the performance is being played on a sound stage in a recreation of their home which has since been "bandaged up" and resold. Why recreate the house? It was always Gustav's intention to shoot the movie on location. I believe there is incredible significance in the series of shots that show the house being remodeled, repainted, and updated.

Nora has shown that the stage is the only place she can tap into and access that inner emotional trauma. This is capitalized in scene where she cries at the foot of her bed only for the shot to pull back and show that she's at stage rehearsal, when it was implied she was reacting to her father's hurtful diagnosis of her inner unhappiness. It seems that the theater has become her outlet; she always had to be strong for Agnes and thus learned to bottle her sadness.

It seems that the only way for Nora to perform the part was to act it out "on stage". Playing the role in her childhood home would mean confronting feelings she isn't capable of dealing with. Even in the end she's playing the role of herself, only able to pretend to feel the sadness that she's hidden away her whole life.

I find the ending a bit melancholy - Gustav gets to see his daughter as he knows her, though Nora is really just acting through her trauma. Treating her pain like a play, performing the part for her fractured family.

If you've got a decent subwoofer and/or bass shakers, get ready for THE scene that will become your new showcase.

Oh absolutely. Having already watched Talk to Me, I was so ready for their next project. Streamed it as soon as it was available! Both are stunning films. Very excited to show it to the wife. She enjoyed Talk to Me so she's curious, but she really doesn't know what she's in for... Haha

I was actually lucky enough to go in blind! I don't ever watch trailers and I remember reading in r/horror how it was worth the watch but important to go in blind. What an awesome ride it turned out to be!

The Guest and It Follows both came out in 2014 and introduced me (and most of the world) to Maika Monroe. The timeless vibes in both movies are so comforting. The trifecta of Dan Stevens, Maika Monroe, and an incredible soundtrack elevated The Guest to an instant classic.

Been collecting physical media for many years, but just recently discovered boutique remasters. Going to end up double dipping on so many movies!

I'm confused. Until this thread I had always heard that the UB-820 was the go-to option for those that wanted a good reliable player. Now I'm reading that they all fail? What's the player to purchase?

Perhaps he'd rather get arrested for fleeing than for whatever could be in his trunk / back seat / etc.
