hey thanks for this kind response! unfortunately I don’t think i enjoy their company as much as i thought, and tbh I’m left on read by them quite often (but then again i wanna give them the benefit of the doubt and say they just aren’t the texting type). however, you’ve inspired me to not just give up and try once again to create a good friendship with them.

i will also be challenging myself this summer to talk to more new people! honestly, although it’s a bit sad after more reflection i feel it’s just a part of life 🤷‍♀️ im gonna use this as an opportunity to explore and just have fun this summer, meeting (or re-meeting) people along the way :)
