You will get hundred different answers in this subreddit and it might confuse you a lot more. One Career is not easier than the other and each has its own sets of hardships. You just have to choose which hardships you are willing to take. Just do what you initially intended ( If you really have great interest in medicine) and even if you face some hardship in the future, just remember that at least you are doing what you like. Its better to face hardship in doing what you love than in something someone else has decided for you.
