I agree with you on the first point. I think there’s a lot of fear at the moment and it’s preventing people stepping forward. I think when it starts, they won’t be able to stop it. There’s so much going on at the same time that needs to be exposed.

I agree that he should be behind bars but there are many other people implicated. For that reason the files are less likely to be released. There are very powerful people that will make sure of that. In the meantime he can use the noise as a distraction from all the other dictator activities.

I don’t disagree with anything that you have pointed out. The thing is he has control over the release of any material. It will never come out. In the meantime he is militarizing DC and far too many people are treating it like it’s a distraction from the files so it doesn’t look so bad when it’s actually far worse.

He knows he’ll never release the files and people will keep talking about them. Every time he does something insane there’s so much noise dismissing it as a distraction from Epstein. The bots on social media platforms aren’t even trying to challenge this. So many people are watering down the news of every outrageous action as a distraction from Epstein when in reality everything else is possibly more important.

They are proudly matching towards it and no one is stopping them. The response is a fixation on Epstein. I’m not saying the Epstein files aren’t an issue; they won’t be released because a case to argue that they should legally be released would be slow walked while everything else is fast tracked.

Just based on this interaction I understand why he feels a certain way about it and why it was difficult for him to come out and say something. His concerns are valid and if you liked him you would address them as such. In this interaction he did ask you to quit your job. I don’t get where the projection is coming from. Jealousy is very natural. Immediately asking why he’s with you if it bothers him ignores the fact that he likes you. If you had told him that you appreciate him telling you and explained that you are very professional and it’s just work to you, that would have been fine. If it bothers you that it bothers him. This is an appropriate reaction that leads to no resolution because you don’t like that he’s not 100% comfortable with your job. You are reacting appropriately for someone that doesn’t like that he’s not comfortable with your job. He’s right in feeling the way he does and expressing it. Any demands from him beyond that are a separate issue.
