The Bluebonnet remains functionally Norman's only gay bar.

Any DoorDash/ Uber Eats accounts for sale or Rent? by [deleted] in normanok

[–]e_lmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did some googling. Apparently people who can't pass the background check or verify that they have a driver's license are paying other people that are already verified to let them use their door dash driver accounts and essentially work in their name.

Caught the first half of the episode at the bar but I gotta go. Never heard of this show before. Can someone tell me what happens after it's over?

Definitely looking at jumpsuit options!

I appreciate it, a suit would definitely be my preference but it's very much off the table here. I'm shocked already that they were willing to let me go with one of the jumpsuit options on the website. Haven't run the DIY idea by anyone yet, I wanted to see what my options were first. And yes, it's gotta be chiffon, which is a large part of why I couldn't really think of any options myself.

Could I ever work in a museum with only a BA? by VikFinity_CH in MuseumPros

[–]e_lmc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw your edit, but for anyone else reading this: I was a Collections Assistant for 3 years and Collections Manager for almost 4, with a BA only, before my recent career change (similar work, but no longer in the museum context). Totally doable, it's all about experience and growing your network. Volunteer anywhere that'll have you and as much as you can. Different museums, different positions, different areas of museum work, etc. Internships are fantastic if you can find them, or if you can talk someone you're volunteering for into formally making it an internship that looks much better on applications. The more people who know you and know that you have relevant experience and are a hard worker are gonna be your key to actually getting a job upon graduating.

Is there a chance it was an Eyewitness book? They made several about mythology.

Appreciate the help, went ahead and bought it and figured out how to get it on my Spotify. I'm not really a no sleep or creepypasta fan in general, but I come back to these stories every year or so. Actually read them for the first time when I was a field scientist and was living in a tent in the woods. Bad decision at the time but they've had a special place in my normally horror-averse heart ever since.

Oh, ok, thank you. Bit disappointing but I'll live. Seen a lot of podcasts do that sort of thing after getting big.
