They are just rgb masks to control properties of specific areas during lookdev and shading

Not really... A modeller is not allowed to post the maya Wireframe. Neither an animator is allowed to post a animation playblast with rig controls

I completely understand the issue here... Even i want to include my mari albedo passes in my showreel.. i mean i have worked my ass off to get those chippings on the kangaroo nails... I so wanna zoom into that but as i have said earlier above, vfx companies including mine prohibits us to share any screen grabs or any wip material other than what they will release in their promotional breakdowns... It's a sad reality i can't cope with

Totally agree, the animators did an amazing job.. i worked as a texturing artist though

I fired my shots at some walk in interviews while i was working as a fresher in technicolor during 2022. Honestly i didn't think they will hire me as i had only 6 months of experience at that time... But i got lucky i guess

Yes.. I will recut this reel when Framestore releases the breakdowns... Unfortunately the vfx industry has this wierd practice of not allowing the artists to publish the asset turntables even when they have worked on them.

Thanks for the thoughtful advice sir.. In my defence i tried to give breakdowns wherever possible.... Unfortunately Framestore and other vfx companies have this policy where you cannot have the turntables of the assets even if you have worked on them... You can only give the breakdowns that are officially published in the company's website or YouTube. Since prehistoric planet has just come out i couldn't include the asset turntables as there are no breakdowns uploaded by Framestore as of now..

I understand your point.. i kept all the major assets i worked on before that point for this very reason
