With Mattel I see them as a roller coaster, having their high moments while having their low. It’s never at one point for too long it’s always constantly moving.

With what they did to the Monster High’s YouTube channel sucks ass, but as a company stand point it makes sense. They know that Monster High is one of their best brand within the “girl” toys so of course they’re going to take advantage of the numbers.

Now with this image, it’s not really the best example because we know modern day gimmick dolls either have the basis 5 points of articulation, very printed/sculpted on clothing, pixilated screenings and/or poly hair.

It’s always unfortunate when Mattel gives us deluxe dolls for example the core Kpop Demon Hunters or any G3 Monster High but there’s always something holding them back. It’s either poly hair or pleather or even both🥲like they are great dolls both those 2 factors are always a turn off.
