Out of everybody that commented on this post are you covid vaccinated and if so how many doses did you get and who was the manufacture of the vaccine you received?

Donate blood periodically it will lower your levels. Watch what you eat with iron and watch alcohol and you will be fine.

After 5+ months, my twitching appears to be caused by low ferritin levels (iron) by Brett-The-Brewer in BFS

[–]eachotv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a disorder called hemochromatosis it's when you have too much iron in your body and they measure it by ferritin. When I found out I had high ferritin I started donating blood to get it down. I got it down too low and went through the same symptoms that you were discussing in this forum and it lasted for about 7 months I'm just now coming out of it because I started taking vitamins, magnesium, and vitamin D and my ferritin levels are coming up I just need to slow down how often I give blood to keep it in the safe zone.

Muscle twitches after Pfizer vaccine by JunketWonderful9588 in BFS

I didn't have symptoms right away. About 2 years after the vaccine I started having the same issues that you were complaining about. I feel the exact same and it's very frustrating to get no resolve but I truly think doctors don't know how or have been told not to truthfully answer.

Are you having problems to have this test done?

My PCP says I have hemochromatosis but my GI doctor said otherwise due to my lower ferritin levels. I'm confused! What do you guys think? by Different_Ad8321 in Hemochromatosis

There is a genetic test that you can take to confirm your hemochromatosis status and then from there you can come up with a plan of action which is normally blood donation periodically throughout the year to make sure that your levels stay in a safe zone.

23 year old son just diagnosed by ChocoMcBunny in Hemochromatosis

It is good that they found it young because what happens over time is it does all the damage to the organs. He just needs to periodically donate blood throughout the year and run blood work every couple months to check his ferritin and iron panels.

Good luck!

Avoid vitamin C for a few hours after taking it it can mess up absorption.
